Audio Galaxy Trickery

Audio Galaxy Satellite is a program that downloads music like Napster. When Audio Galaxy is installed it downloads a program called Gator. This program supposedly has some use for people because it allows people to fill out forms. The usefulness of this utility is doubtful at best however because Internet Explorer 5.0 and I believe Netscape 6.x also can automatically fill in forms for you. What Gator does do though is it puts advertising up on the users screen. Therefore I think that Gator should be uninstalled because it serves no USEFUL purpose.

When Gator is uninstalled however, another program called Onflow Player is then downloaded from the internet. This program is like Gator, except that its only purpose I believe is for advertising. Therefore this program should be uninstalled as well.

To uninstall Gator go to the Control Panel and double click on the Add/Remove applet and the Install/Uninstall Tab will show. Find Gator and double click on it. Answer the questions it asks until it opens a web browser and asks you some marketing questions. Just close that window, because they don't deserve to know any of that information.

By uninstalling Gator, Audio Galaxy then downloads the Onflow Player. If you have Zone Alarm or some other firewall program you may be able to stop the download from occuring. Otherwise withing half an hour, a new icon should appear on the taskbar. Right click on this and select Exit. Then go back to the control panel and do the same as you did to uninstall Gator except this time look for Onflow Player.

This will stop any ads coming up and save memory that the useless programs were taking up.
